For The Sherlock Fans

Sherlock (the TV series) was filmed in London, meaning that fans like myself are able to visit some of the filming locations, from Speedys Cafe to St Barts Hospital and even a cheeky peek at the Sherlock Museum.

If you're a fan of Sherlock I recommend you start your day at 221 B Baker street, or, the front door of 221B, and then pop into Speedys cafe for a coffee (or Breakfast if you left your accomodation without food!)

Address: 187 N Gower St, Kings Cross, London NW1 2NJ
Nearest station:  warren street or Euston Square

Once you've taken your pictures outside 221B  head over to China town (Setting for The Blind Banker, S1 Episode 2) where Sherlock tried to contact Soo lyn. Theres so much to do here, and lots of chinese restarunts.

(Nearest station: Leicester Square)

Tapas Brandisa in Soho is the next stop on your sherlock tour, used as the setting for Sherlock and Watsons stake out in the first episode. I highly recommend having some Tapas here. Its so tasty! book in advance to sit by the window like sherlock and watson did. Be warned, the restaurant underwent a renovation, so the booth that our favourite duo sat in no longer exists.

The Sherlock Holmes museum is a MUST for any Sherlock Fan! Its based on Baker street at the actual address of Sherlock holmes (The REAL 221B!)

This isn't one of the free London Musueum, But I recommend any fan visit it! tickets cost £15 for Adults and £10 for children

(Nearest Station: Baker Street)

The Reichenbach Fall, one of the most frustrating cliffhangers ever, was shot at St Bart's Hospital, and whilst I don't recommend wandering around inside, you can admire the beauty of the building, it's one of the oldest standing hospitals in England!

Address: W Smithfield, London EC1A 7BE (Nearest station: St Pauls)

One of the more difficult Sherlock locations to visit is the OXO tower Foreshohre, which is dependant on the tide of the river. Its definitley worth a visit as its not one of the typical things to do around London but you do get to see some amazing views of London.

Check the website for times that its safe to visit!
